Das kleine Freeware-Tool DisableSkypeAds deaktiviert die Werbung in Skype. Die Vorteile dieses Programms im Vergleich zu den Anleitungen und Batch-/Powershell-Skripts, die im Internet dazu kursieren, ist die grafische, mehrsprachige Benutzeroberfläche, die einfache Bedienung und die klaren Rückmeldungen für den Anwender. Die ZIP-Datei einfach entpacken und das Programm ausführen, es ist keine Installation nötig.
- Durch die Blockierung der Werbung wird auch Skype Home blockiert und nur noch eine weiße Startseite angezeigt.
- Dieses Programm wurde in der Skriptsprache AutoIt geschrieben und kann in seltenen Fällen einen Fehlalarm durch eine Antivirensoftware verursachen. Mehr Infos hier.

The freeware tool DisableSkypeAds deactivates the advertisments in the Skype program. The advantage of this program compared to the tutorials and batch-/powershell-scripts out there is, that you have a graphical, multilingual user interface with an easy handling and clear feedback for the user. Just unzip and execute the file, no installation needed.
- If you deactivate the ads in Skype, you will also block Skype Home.
- This program is written in AutoIt. In rare cases it could cause a false alarm in some antivirus products.
